Her latest release is a Victorian dark romance, The Elaborations, with the sequel, The Corruptions, forthcoming in 2027.
Her debut novel, Diary of Murders – a Victorian murder mystery –has sold thousands of copies worldwide and spurned more books in the series, including Several Glorious Months: A Diary of Murders Short Story Collection, a direct sequel, Secrets Unbound, a Christmas novella called A Very Bennett Christmas, and a prequel novella, Her Tormented Saviour. The final book in the series, Becoming, Destroying, Saving, Miriam, is out in 2027!
She has published Crete-set adventure romance A Maze of Monsters & Men, and in December 2026, she’ll publish cosy Victorian vampire novel Flash Fang Wallop!
Sarah Cook is Digital Marketing Manager for UK Jewish Film, who has also worked in the art industry as a marketing manager for companies such as Picturehouse Cinemas, Chiswick Cinema, Royal Albert Hall, and the Albany, producing celebrated and viral content for their social channels. She has hosted interactive events for Frozen 2, Avengers: Endgame, and Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.
She has directed a number of short films, including Toby and The Rogue Table. Her short film, Blow by Blow, was featured on the Honourable Mention list at the Women X Film Festival and received over 100,000 views on social media.
Finally, Sarah is a prolific media journalist who has had bylines in websites such as Movies On Weekends, HeyUGuys, Film Stories, The Digital Fix, and Picturehouse Cinemas. Sarah has established herself as a keen reporter, both on junkets and on red carpets, interviewing celebrities from Florence Pugh to Minnie Driver. She also hosted Q&As with Timothy Spall, Harriet Walker, and Suzie Quatro.
When Sarah isn’t writing about Victorians, she is most likely doing Victorian things, such as exploring the UK’s rich history or spending time with The Victorian Society.
However, in the modern world, she is usually watching a film in the cinema, baking with her niece, or cuddling with her two cats, Jekyll & Bennett.
